An event to celebrate OYSU's seventh anniversary was today held in Iffo camp by the OYSU Dadaab branches.

"Unity is Strength" was the theme of the event.

It centred on the remarkable day, 27th June 2010,  which unified the ability, intellectuality and the voice of the Somali Ogaden's upcoming generation.

The event was jointly held by Oysu branches from Hagadera, Iffo and Dagahley and was participated by delegates from the other East Africa branches.

Invited representatives from Dadaab refugees stakeholders were also present in the ceremony, among them were Gambela leaders whom we are oppressed alike.

Long speeches by the invited guests, Ogaden Community leaders in Dadaab  and Motivational songs and Poems from both Halgan band (based in Ifo)  and Ayaan Halgan touched the hearts of the participants.
